CUonline launch event great success
Wellington Computer Systems’ CUonline service for credit unions was officially launched at a gala event held in Wellington Park Hotel on Friday 12th of January.
The event proved to be a huge success, with many Credit Unions and press in attendance.
Honored guest and Nobel Peace Prize winner, John Hume, officially launched the next generation of CUonline Electronic Funds Transfer website, which allows members to pay bills, transfer funds into accounts and manage their finances online with ease.
A full demonstration of the CUonline system was given to delegates on the day, with Alex Dunne, MD of Wellington, presenting the strategic advantages offered to Credit Unions.
Each customised site allows Credit Unions to interact with their members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With powerful security features and protection for member’s identity, the system also caters for members in providing them with a safe environment to communicate with their Credit Union regarding their accounts.
The biggest leap in service for the members will be the added convenience and instantly updated accounts, making payments to other accounts, paying bills and conducting their finances online.
It is envisaged that as Credit Union members are becoming more technically astute, and in order to retain younger members, a fully functioning CUOnline site from Wellington would be the best tool in driving any Credit Unions’ online growth and competitive strategy.
Wellington will be showcasing the new CUonline system with live demonstrations online.
